Florida Panthers Superstar Partners with Baptist Health
Matthew Tkachuk to develop unique content pieces highlighting Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, as Brand Ambassador
Baptist Health and Florida Panthers winger Matthew Tkachuk are partnering as part of a brand ambassador relationship. A partnership sparked by Tkachuk’s brief yet powerful words, as he thanked the medical staff, including Baptist Health Orthopedic Care physicians, during his Stanley Cup post-game TV interview on TNT, highlighting the road to recovery from an injury suffered during the season and returning to become a back-to-back champion.
“There’s a lot that goes into competing in the NHL over the course of a season,” said Tkachuk. “Support off the ice matters. The level of expert care provided by the Baptist Health medical staff allowed me to stay the course and return to the ice at the highest level.”
Tkachuk will represent the Baptist Health organization through marketing, public engagement and outreach efforts that help elevate awareness, strengthen community connections and reinforce the organization’s mission and values as leaders in the healthcare landscape.
“Matthew Tkachuk embodies excellence, leadership and a deep connection to South Florida, which makes him an outstanding partner,” said Christine Kotler, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Baptist Health. “As a two-time champion and a key member of the Florida Panthers, Matthew brings a level of credibility and influence that resonates across our community. His commitment to performance, resilience and teamwork aligns seamlessly with our mission, and we’re proud to welcome him as a brand ambassador for our organization.”
Baptist Health will also work with Tkachuk to develop unique content pieces highlighting Baptist Health’s Orthopedic Care service line and a shared focus on health, performance and long-term well-being for Florida Panthers’ players and the broader community; anticipated to be published across linear, digital, and social media platforms in early 2026.
As another key pillar of the partnership, Tkachuk and Baptist Health plan to collaborate on a youth hockey activation program, which aims to continue growing the sport of hockey in South Florida.
