Why Refer
Patients may be appropriate for referral for a broad spectrum of upper extremity issues, including fractures, ligament injuries, nerve entrapment syndromes, peripheral nerve injuries, tendon disorders, arthritis, sports injuries and other conditions affecting hand and wrist function.
Comprehensive, Coordinated Care
The program provides evaluation and treatment for both acute injuries and chronic conditions, with a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach that includes close collaboration with physical and occupational therapists to support recovery and optimize functional outcomes.
Conditions Commonly Treated
Conditions treated include arthritis, De Quervain’s tendonitis, dislocations, Dupuytren’s contracture, ganglion cysts, hand, wrist and forearm fractures, Kienbock’s disease, ligament tears, midcarpal instability, nerve entrapment conditions including carpal tunnel, brachial plexus and ulnar nerve issues, nerve lacerations, nerve transfers and reconstruction for nerve deficit, peripheral nerve injuries, sports injuries to the wrist and hand, sprains, tendonitis, trigger finger and TFCC tears.
